The Center for Training, Education and Credentialing (CTEdC) is always striving to create better continuing education experiences for those in the mental health field. Our focus is to give you a more convenient, interactive and professional experience with a personal touch.
Our Story
CTEdC, formerly New Leaf Center, began as a small counseling office in Bowling Green, KY in 2011. As our primary founder moved into administrative roles within higher education in the counseling field, so too, we saw the need to provide convenient online trainings for counselors in the state of Kentucky. From there, we have evolved into the Center for Training, Education & Credentialing, providing exceptional trainings and services for all licensed counselors throughout the country.
Meet the Team
Dr. Martin C. Wesley and his wife, Dawn, are truly a team unlike any other. They have worked together as entrepreneurs since the 1990s, first with Sowin’ Love Shelters & Family Services in Arizona, with New Leaf Center in Kentucky in 2011, then with University of the Cumberlands from 2013 to 2018 where they built a solid counseling program from the ground up. Now they bring to you the Center for Training, Education & Credentialing, LLC to meet the needs of counselors and other mental health professionals in the area of continuing education.
Martin C. Wesley, PhD
Co-Founder & CEO
Dr. Wesley holds a PhD in Counseling Psychology and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He is currently the Chair for the Department of Counseling, Psychology and Social Sciences with Argosy University in Tampa, FL.
Dawn Wesley
Co-Founder/Managing Director
Dawn holds a B.S. in Human Services with Concentration in Mental Health Counseling. She has worked in administrative roles in the fields of social services, the arts, and higher education.
